Green Fox by Ohana Inns

This house was perfect for a small girls trip, close to Acadia/Bar Harbor! The house was adorable, we especially loved the fun wallpaper & light-switch covers that added personality to the house :) Everyone at Ohana Inns was very helpful & communicative, making it a great stay!

We were so fortunate to find this property and have the property owners be so flexible with allowing us to bring our three pups (2 blind huskies and 1 Aussie collie mix) with us. This was our first family vacation with the dogs and the Trenton/Bar Harbor area was beyond perfect. The property was exactly as described, there’s a small grocery store not far from the house although I went to Hannaford about 15 minutes away our first night to get some basics. Great little bakery (Sugar Bakery) that we went to several times. We had SO much lobster! The Travelin’ Lobster, Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, the Happy Clam Shack, and just to mix it up some deciduous BBQ from Mainly Meats (the wings were so good!). Back to the property! The house was clean and lovely, there were dog treats and dog bowls waiting for us. The rooms were clean and the dehumidifier was a must have and addressed any humidity during our stay. The weather was a bit rainy when we first arrived and then the heat came so it kept everything pleasant. The fans in the house were wonderful and kept us cool in the evenings (there is also AC for the warmer months). There was SO much space, the living room was huge and the bedroom was the perfect size for us and the pups. The owners were super responsive and friendly the entire time. Honestly we’ve traveled to a lot of places and I had some hesitations about how it would go with the pups but this was absolutely the kind of experience we were hoping for. Would HIGHLY recommend!!
